The innaugural Delta Omega Day of Service will take place during National Public Health Week (April 2-8, 2012). Chapters may select any day during NPHW to hold their activities and members are encouraged to participate with local chapters (not necessarily their inducting chapter). Surgeon General Inducted as National Honorary Member
U.S. Surgeon General Regina M. Benjamin was inducted as Delta Omega's 2011 National Honorary Member at the National Council Meeting on Monday, October 31. As the U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Benjamin is on the frontline of public health policy in action; her work exemplifies the breadth of public health.
