2011 Annual Meeting Information

Delta Omega National Council Meeting 
Meeting Agenda

benjaminU.S. Surgeon General Regina M. Benjamin was inducted as the 2011 National Honorary Member at the National Council Meeting. As the U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Benjamin is on the frontline of public health policy in action; her work exemplifies this breadth in public health. Dr. Lesley Russell, the Senior Public Health Advisor in the Office of the Surgeon General, accepted the honor on Dr. Benjamin's behalf, and delivered the meeting's keynote address. The meeting also featured a presentation by the 2011 Innovative Curriculum Award Winner and the announcement of the Chapter Awards.

Booth in Exhibition Hall:

We hosted a booth in the APHA Exhibit Hall from October 29-November 2. Current members and those interested in establishing a chapter at their institution stopped by to learn about new events, meet other members, and just to say hello!

The meetings were held at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill located at 400 New Jersey Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20001 (unless otherwise noted).
