Classics

classicDelta Omega Classics are important texts, which have been deemed public health classics by the national council. They are generally out of print, or not widely available in libraries. Delta Omega has sponsored the reprinting of many of these classics on a limited basis. Many of our members have volunteered to write introductions to these texts to provide context for a contemporary audience.

In addition to these classics, we have curated historical documents and sponsored the professional publications of a historical collection of Public Health Reports. We have made these materials available to the public in an effort to preserve the historical record and founding ideals of the society.

Those interested in writing an introduction to one of these classics are welcomed to submit one to Tucker O'Donnell.
