Publications:


Public Health Reports
: Members are eligible to receive a 10% discount. To claim your discount, click here. Please include the name of your induction chapter and your year of induction.

 

 

CPH Study Guide: The 2009 CPH Study Guide is currently being developed. Information on how to receive the discount will be posted once orders are being accepted. Delta Omega members are entitled to a discount on the CPH Study Guide developed by ASPH for the public health certification exam.You must be a member of Delta Omega to receive the discount. If you are not listed in the Delta Omega membership database, please contact Kate Howe at khowe@asph.org.

Memberships:

  • American Public Health Association (APHA) : Members of Delta Omega will receive a $15 discount on APHA annual membership dues. APHA members receive the American Journal of Public Health , APHA's newspaper, The Nation's Health and access to many other electronic resources. APHA membership also allows for a reduced registration fee for the APHA Annual Meeting held in November each year. To receive the Delta Omega member discount visit www.apha.org and click "Join/Renew", then download an application form (available as a pdf here) and use the promotional code "DO." (Please note: at this time, the promotional code cannot be entered APHA's online new membership/renewal system. Please contact the national office if you have difficulties using your promotion.)

Networking opportunities:

Delta Omega hosts an annual reception for all members. These receptions are an excellent opportunity to not only meet colleagues from your chapter, but others as well.

The next Delta Omega Reception will be held
in October 2008 in San Diego, CA.

Leadership Development:

Delta Omega sponsors two annual awards – an award to recognize innovation in curricula development and a poster session to acknowledge student research. Both of these awards encouraged excellence in public health; Delta Omega members are the key to creating and sustaining these opportunities.
