Through events and competitions, Delta Omega offers members a prestigious platform to show their prowess in public health and network with one another. We invite students to submit their research to our annual Student Poster Session competition, faculty members who are innovating public health education can highlight their work through the Innovative Curriculum Award, and officers are encouraged to compete for our various Chapter Awards.

In addition to these awards, we also sponsor collaborative events. Our Annual Meeting, held in conjunction with the American Public Health Assocation's yearly meeting and exposition, is an excellent opportunity to not only meet colleagues from your chapter, but other members throughout the community. Beginning in 2012, we will sponsor the Delta Omega Day of Service, which encourages members to connect with chapters in their areas and promote excellence in public health during National Public Health Week.
