Delta Omega members have a number of benefits available to them. At the national level, we offer all chapters and members with leadership development and publication opportunities, networking opportunities, and discounted resources. Every year, the National Office sponsors two awards that recognize innovative curriculums by faculty members and research by students. The Delta Omega Award for Innovative Public Health Curriculum and Student Poster Session Awards are highly-selective and offer a prestigious platform. The winners are invited to present their work during a poster session at the American Public Health Association's annual exposition.

Annual Meeting and Reception: Delta Omega hosts an annual reception for all members. These receptions are an excellent opportunity to not only meet colleagues from your chapter, but others as well. The next Delta Omega reception will be held this fall in Boston, MA.

National Day of Service: In 2012, the Delta Omega Honorary Society hosted its inaugural Day of Service in conjunction with National Public Health Week. The Delta Omega Day brought members together through connected chapter events and service activities. We hope for an even better turnout in 2013!

Mentor Network: Our mentor network connects established Delta Omega members with public health students and young professionals. The network allows students and young professionals to search for public health professionals who are willing to answer questions or provide career advice.

CPH Study Guide: Delta Omega members are entitled to a 20% discount on the Certified in Public Health (CPH) study guide, which was developed by ASPH to help test-takers prepare for the public health certification exam. The CPH Study Guide is currently available at www.asph.org/cphstudyguide. Members may use the code "DO20" when purchasing to receive the discount. Membership to the American Public Health Association (APHA): Members of Delta Omega will receive a $15 discount on APHA annual membership dues.
